As a current graduate student, it has become clear to me that the educational climate fails to address the most important question that students never ask. A question that is suppressed by elongated lectures and grossly irrelevant activities designed to discourage questions of this nature. It was not until an unconventional professor told the class he wanted to focus on the "So What?". I thought to myself, "so what?", but understood that the information I had been cultivating had not translated to remedies for the problems I had but problems so far in the future, I'd never remember how to fix them. Unlike a dormant volcano, this information does not just explode out when the time is right, but rather dissipates over time to nonexistence. This blog is designed to address the "So What?" of the research surrounding organizational and employee productivity and effectiveness.
